Far West Regionals 2009, CA

Caitlin's team did exceptionally well at Regionals. They took third overall on points. In bracket play they beat Alaska 4-0, tied Colorado 0-0, and tied Idaho 0-0, to advance to quarterfinals and play Oregon. They beat Oregon 1-0. They played the eventual champions, California South, in the semi's, and lost in overtime, 3-2. Here are some amazing shots that our professional photographer, Jenessa, took.

Cait had already kicked the ball, but I think this looks like the other player is just picking her up right off the field.

We were all so into this game, against Southern California, that we only got a few pics.

This was a total goal saving tackle for Cait. She poked it across the end line for a corner kick.

I love this pic because of the mere size of the other player.

This moment was bitter sweet, it was great to get third, but they still would've preferred to be getting up the next morning for a game.
